- regular meetings
- associating with fellow modellers in the region and around the country
- displays and competitions
The club now meets every Thursday evening on the second floor of the Catholic Pastoral 300 Rattray St. Dunedin. Off street parking and lift access are available.
The meeting on the last Thursday of each month is dedicated to club business matters and other meetings are workshop evenings where members work on their projects and are available to share ideas and assist with problems club members may be having.

We race 1/32nd scale slot cars on two tracks. For club night racing we use three types of cars (Grand Prix, Sports and Saloons) on a rotating basis. All cars are powered by "16D" type or Falcon motors. The club welcomes visitors and new members. Come along and see what we do. There is no need to have your own cars or controller, the club has some available for use while you decide if this is your thing. For more information visit our website. www.pitlane.nzsca.co.nz

Interested in Wargaming - then come join us, the Timaru Armchair Generals (T.A.G) for a game.
We meet weekly upstairs in the Sacred Heart Parish Centre, Napier St, Timaru at 7pm every Wednesday (except over Christmas) and play a wide variety of games. Terrain is available for most games and if you need help learning the rules, members are happy to help out.
It costs $3 a night ($2 if you become a member - membership is only $20 per year) but you only pay if you play. If it is your first game with us, that game is free.
Both experienced and novice gamers are welcome and we are happy to try out any games that you want to introduce to us as well.
If you want to know more or to contact us, please e-mail Stephen Malone at
